Improving care in neighbourhoods is subject of engagement workshop
A public engagement workshop, hosted by Berkshire West Integrated Care System (ICS), was held on 20 February at Reading Town Hall.
Aimed at Patient Participation Groups (PPGs), it followed an ICS public engagement workshop, held on 4 December and was attended by more than 80 people.
It was a further opportunity to explore how the ICS can engage with PPGs to improve patient care at a neighbourhood level, as well as the developing role of GP Alliances in integrating primary care services.
Dr Cathy Winfield, Chief Officer for Berkshire West CCG, and Dr Jim Kennedy, Chair of Berkshire West Primary Care Alliance, gave the main presentation on the subject of ‘Designing our Neighbourhoods’.
